The Monmouth County Career Center, a New Jersey Star School, is a vocational high school on Kozloski Road in Freehold, New Jersey.

KIVA High School
KIVA High School provides a comprehensive program for special needs students, in grades 9-12, who have not experienced success in a traditional high school setting. Using reality-based, small group instruction, KIVA provides academic requirements for graduation, vocational training for job placement and interpersonal skill development for successful world citizenship. During the 2005-06 school year, KIVA was able to service over seventy-five students who were recommended by more than twenty-five high schools. A "kiva" in the Native American tradition, is a safe, protected community in which knowledge is exchanged in an atmosphere of trust and respect. Based on this philosophy, KIVA students have made a positive difference in both school and in the community through the following activities:

Youth Detention Center
The Monmouth County Youth Detention Center is a holding facility for youths that are involved in the court system. The educational program is designed to provide short-term transitional education for those youths. The educational program is a cooperative effort between the County Youth Detention Center and the Monmouth County Vocational School District.
In developing and implementing the academic programs for the residents, the teaching staff recognizes the ever-changing conditions and needs of the individual to whom they provide services. The educational staff of the Youth detention Center shares a commitment to continue to encourage and support our students towards both educational and personal growth.
