2011 - 2012 Due Dates in PowerTeacher Gradebook (Full Time Campuses)


Be sure to note these dates when adding assignments and their corresponding due dates in PowerTeacher Gradebook.

PowerTeacher Gradebook Reporting Terms (for year-long courses, semester-long and quarter-long courses) are listed below:

 

Year-long courses in 2011 - 2012 use the following Reporting Terms in PowerTeacher Gradebook:

Y1: 9/1/2011 - 6/30/2012

Q1: 9/1/2011 - 11/9/2011

Q2: 11/10/2011 - 1/24/2012

M1: 1/25/2012 - 1/26/2012

Q3: 1/27/2012 - 4/1/2012

Q4: 4/2/2012 - 6/13/2012

F1: 6/14/2012 - 6/30/2012

Examples for year-long classes in 2011-2012:
Any regular classroom assignment needs to have a due date in the gradebook between 9/1/2011 - 11/9/2011 to contribute towards the Q1 Reporting Term.
Any regular classroom assignment needs to have a due date in the gradebook between 11/10/2011 - 1/24/2012 to contribute towards the Q2 Reporting Term.
Any mid-term exam given should have a due date between 1/25/2012 - 1/26/2012 to contribute towards the M1 Reporting Term.
Any regular classroom assignment needs to have a due date in the gradebook between 1/27/2012 - 4/1/2012 to contribute towards the Q3 Reporting Term.
Any regular classroom assignment needs to have a due date in the gradebook between 4/2/2012 - 6/13/2012 to contribute towards the Q4 Reporting Term.
Any final exam given should have a due date between 6/14/2012 - 6/30/2012 to contribute towards the F1 Reporting Term.
Typically, the Q1, Q2, M1, Q3, Q4, and F1 Reporting Terms will contribute towards the calculation of the Y1 overall course grade (such as 20% for Q1, 20% for Q2, 10% for M1, 20% for Q3, 20% for Q4, and 10% for F1).

Semester-long courses in Semester 1 use the following Reporting Terms in PowerTeacher Gradebook:

Y1: 9/1/2011 - 1/26/2012

Q1: 9/1/2011 - 11/7/2011

M1: 11/8/2011 - 11/9/2011

Q2: 11/10/2011 - 1/24/2012

F1: 1/25/2012 - 1/26/2012

Examples for semester-long classes in Semester 1:
Any regular classroom assignment needs to have a due date in the gradebook between 9/1/2011 - 11/7/2011 to contribute towards the Q1 Reporting Term.
Any mid-term exam given should have a due date between 11/8/2011 - 11/9/2011 to contribute towards the M1 Reporting Term.
Any regular classroom assignment needs to have a due date in the gradebook between 11/10/2011 - 1/24/2012 to contribute towards the Q2 Reporting Term.
Any final exam given should have a due date between 1/25/2012 - 1/26/2012 to contribute towards the F1 Reporting Term.
Typically, the Q1, M1, Q2, and F1 Reporting Terms will contribute towards the calculation of the Y1 overall course grade (such as 40% for Q1, 10% for M1, 40% for Q2, and 10% for F1).

Typically, the Q4 and F1 Reporting Term will both contribute towards the calculation of the Y1 overall course grade (such as 90% for Q4 and 10% for F1).
