Headphones in Room 110!!
Of course a good question to ask at a medical focussed high school. But this video, while doing a nice job of answering the question, is shown here as a cool VIDEO concept. Of course it helps if you can draw like the creator of the video. In any case it is interesting stuff. Check it out!

For Alternative Medicine Presentation Groups that use any of the following to prepare or present their topic:
- Google Docs
- Any Group-created Wiki
- Any Group-created Voicethread
Evidence of the use of these items must be presented at the time of the presentation to be eligible for the bonus points.
It is possible that you have finished up your work on the Web page and the FCP Reflection (possible, but doubtful!) and are ready to start on our next topic: Excel, but we are allowing others to finish up work on the web, FCP and Powerpoint assignment, so we don't have a regular day that we can do a typical in-class introduction for both classes until Thursday (or maybe even Friday; okay, now it is definitely Friday! (How's that for a run-on sentence, Ms. Koffler??)
Anyway, that leads us to trying something new.
To get us started, we will be using the tutorial located here:
Excel Tutorial
which was created by the Florida Gulf Coast University. The tutorial is based on Excel 2000, but the basics that it discusses will serve us well for the version we use at school and any different version you may have at home.

Save the .jpg file you created on your server. Create a folder called FCP. Save the file as firstnamelastinitial.jpg. Mine would be:
Get the file in place ASAP, not later than 11:00am on Monday, December 17th.brianm.jpeg
You must use your assigned tool to teach:

Note: An upcoming major project will offer the opportunity to use Powerpoint alternatives for a bonus!! Teach well! Presentations on Wednesday December 19 will be a maximum of 12 minutes. All team members must be involved in the presentation. You MAY use one of the other new tools in preparing your presentation.

REPRINTED FROM NOTIFICATION TO FCP TEACHERS:
As you move towards uploading all videos by November 30, please note the following:
- The video must be uploaded to the NING.
- The DIRECT LINK to the Ning is to added as a hyperlink to the video title on the Master list of videos wiki
- The EMBED CODE is to be used to insert the video onto the TOPIC VIDEO wiki **NOTE** This IS NOT the same as the Topic Wiki. As an example, this is the Wireless Connectivity video wiki http://FCP12-2flatclassroomproject.org/Wcon+Video+Page
- The template as below must be put with the embedded video
Use this template to put UNDER your video:
Title:
Video Number:
Author:
Contributor(s):
Alternate link to video:
We are tidying up the topic wikis to make this clearer that the students MUST embed videos on the accompanying wiki, NOT on the main wiki. The link has been there right from the start of the project and looks like this:
Clicking on the video camera takes you to the correct wiki for posting your video.
Check out the MyHomework App for assistance in keeping organized.
