        <![CDATA[SEPT 08, 2011--Essay topic:&nbsp; Should students be made to wear uniforms in school?&nbsp; Discussed/Graphed/Wrote one paragraph on same.<br /><br />SEPT 13, 2011--Students were asked to start an essay on this question:&nbsp; Support or oppose this "Should large schools be broken down to smaller ones in order to lessen violence and bullying?"&nbsp; Write a letter to the Board of Education on this controversial issue.<br /><br />SEPT 15, 2011--Students writing rough draft (5 paragraph essay) on bullying/violence in schools.<br /><br />SEPT 20, 2011--Students must hand in typed (finished) copy of the bullying essay.&nbsp; Copy needs to be double-spaced and five paragraphs long.&nbsp; See question on page 30 of the HSPA WORKBOOK.<br /><br />SEPT 22, 2011--Students review how to write an essay in the format of the NJDOE in preparation for the HSPA on Oct 5, 6.&nbsp; <br /><br />SEPT 27, 2011--On the Edge/ Against the Odds and answer all pages from 7 - 11. <br /><br />OCTOBER 6 &amp; 7--NO CLASSES.&nbsp; HSPA TEST GIVEN.<br /> ]]>
