Many thanks to those of you who took the time to submit letters of recommendation for Teacher of the Year honors. I am pleased to announce that the recipient for the 2008-09 school year is ...

Mr. Jonathan Olsen

Congratulations Mr. Olsen. Thank you for all you do and for all that you mean to the High Tech community.

Wednesday, March 25th, 7:00 - 9:00 pm at HTHS

Please consider marking your calendars for our first ever research showcase evening. We value the opportunity to allow parents and students to witness some of the recent award winning student research projects that have come out of HTHS. We're featuring those projects that will compete at Jersey Shore Science Fair, those that represented the State of New Jersey at the American Junior Academy of Science meeting in Chicago this past February, and our senior Intel & Siemens competition entries from the fall semester.

In addition, our keynote speaker for the evening will be a member of the HTHS Class of 2001, Princeton doctoral candidate, Ms. Andréa Vasconcellos-Granstedt who has been asked to speak on "What I've been up to since sophomore research." :-) Knowing Andréa, it should be a most interesting summary.

We look forward to seeing many of you that evening.
