For the 4th year in a row CHS will be walking as a team to raise money for,
and awareness about, breast cancer.
The first 100 team members will receive a CHS Team Spirit '08 t-shirt.
This year, hundreds of thousands of people will hear the words "you have breast cancer," and there's a good chance that some of them will be people we know and love. I have chosen to fight back against this disease and help make a difference by participating in the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer® walk of Point Pleasant ... and I hope you will join me.
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is our opportunity to honor and celebrate breast cancer survivors, educate women about early detection and prevention, and raise money to fund lifesaving research and support programs to help fight breast cancer. But Making Strides is more than just the name of a walk. It describes the amazing progress we can make if we work together to defeat this disease.
Below is a link to the CHS team page. I hope you will visit our site and sign up to join the team. Hope starts with me and it can continue with you. Please join our team and walk with us to experience an incredible day of inspiration and meaning, and to provide hope for all people facing breast cancer.
Hope starts with you and me. Let's walk!

Work in this class is graded by a numerical point system. Each assignment is given a value of total points possible. For example, a project may be given a value of 100 points, a test 60 points and so on. At the end of the marking period, your earned point sum is divided by the number of possible points to determine your final grade.
You are responsible to complete all the work assigned to you in this class. Homework, Projects, Reports, and other assignments handed in late will have FIVE POINTS taken off the grade for each day it is turned in late. For instance, turning in a "90" quality Homework assignment one day late will result in a grade of "85" for the work.
Cheating & plagiarism are strictly forbidden in this class, therefore such acts result in an automatic failing grade (refer to the student handbook for more info). If you are ABSENT, you are responsible to see me or a classmate to get the work you missed, you will have two days to make up the work. After two days FIVE POINTS will be taken off the grade for each day it is late.
ADI should be an enjoyable time for all. Learning all about Digital Photography as well as print is a great way to finish up any high school career. You can see some of the books created by previous classes here.
