11/19/2019 It is with great honor Monmouth County Vocational School District recognizes the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office as 2019 Business Partner of the Year. The Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office, led by Sheriff Shaun Golden, and the Academy of Law and Public Safety, MCVSD, have been working closely together for Monmouth County student betterment since the school’s inception. Sheriff Golden and his team have afforded our students wonderful educational experiences including, but not limited to: Special Law Enforcement Basic Course (SLEO 1), tours of the Sheriff’s Office’s facilities, guest speaker opportunities, internships for our students, and hosting ALPS graduation ceremony at the Police Academy. Additionally, in the interest of school safety, sheriff officers have been a mainstream presence at all Monmouth County Vocational School District school buildings.
