Report Card Module

 

Student Grades:

Manual entry into Report Cards Module

NOTE: Never enter grades into Bin 7 (Final Average)
Single grade classes can use any Bin 1 thru 6

 

  1. Open Report Card Module
  2. Select Classes from boxes at the top
  3. Optional: Select Sort Order from Views menu
    Click and drag items from Available Keys to Sort Order to add sorting items. To remove items, drag items from Sort Order to Available Keys.
     
    To rearrange the sort order, drag items up and down the sort column then click OK to complete the sort
     
    Suggestion: Class Name first and Teacher Name second with all other items in the Available Keys, groups students by class then teacher and in alphabetical order.
  4. Open the first class in the list by double clicking on it or highlight it and select Open from the File menu
  5. Select By Bins from the boxes at the top.
  6. The right pull-down menu under the boxes should say: "Class Info & Marks"
  7. The center pull-down menu selects the bin (Marking Period or Exam) to have grades or comments added.
  8. For each student in the class: enter the grade in the % column; I, GNI or CIP go in the Letter Grade column; and the comment numbers are entered in the Work Habit column (Note: only 2 characters are permitted in Work Habit)
  9. Select Next Class from the View menu to go to the next class in the list
    Note: Holding the Apple Key and pressing the R key will also advance to the next class
     
    OR
     
    Click the close box or select Close from the File menu if you are finished.
  10. Select Yes to the Save Changes question box unless you do not want to keep the recent entries.
  11. Repeat for each class.

 

Note:
The same procedure will work for individual students by selecting the Students box at the top in Step 2 and follow the same method of entering data.
