Printing Report Cards - Sharetime

Before printing Report Cards, make sure all grades have been entered manually or by "up-load"

Step 1 ­ Calculate Attendance

  1. Open the Attendance Module
  2. Select Recalculate Totals form the Attendance menu
  3. Close the Attendance Module

Step 2 ­ Print Report Cards

A ­ Open Report Card Module

B ­ Setup Points & Credits

  1. Select Points & Credits from... from the Marks Menu
  2. Select the file "Points&Credits" from the MacSchool folder
  3. Click OPEN

C­ Calculate Final Average and Earned Credits for Marking Period 4 only

  1. In the Edit menu select Bin(s) to View/Edit...
  2. Select Bins 1 through 4 (all black except Bin 5)
  3. Click OK
  4. Select all Teachers and only Classes that are used for grading
  5. Select all students (or specified individual students)
  6. Select Consolidate Bins (Marks)
  7. Select Consolidate Bins into Bin 5: Final Average
  8. Click on Bins to be included in calculation (normally bins 1 throgh 4)
  9. Make sure the bin weights are correct. Classes with 4 marking periods, mid term and final are shown below.
    • Bin 1 ­ 1.00 (MP 1)
    • Bin 2 ­ 1.00 (MP 2)
    • Bin 3 ­ 1.00 (MP 3)
    • Bin 4 ­ 1.00 (MP 4)
  10. Check flags to copy across: P. Credits, Used in GPA, Used In E. Credits and Is Final Mark
  11. Click OK
  12. Select Yes to dialog about clearing target bin (Bin 5)
  13. Select all students (or specified individual students) if different than above
  14. In the Edit menu select Bin(s) to View/Edit...
  15. Select only Bin 5 (all white except Bin 5)
  16. Click OK

D­ Print entire student population

E ­ Print selected student population

 

* If you have to use the Ask for Template option, you may have to tell the program where the template is located. Then highlight it and click Open

If Earned Credits is not correct check the Report Card Prefrences (Click Here)
