Hosted by the HTHS Math League, Math Koritsia held its third annual New Jersey competition on Saturday, March 7th at High Technology High School in Lincroft, NJ.
Over 75 students attended the event, representing 25 different middle schools from across New Jersey. Based in the tri-state area, Math Koritsia is a nonprofit organization that hosts annual team-based math competitions for female and nonbinary middle schoolers.
Led and run by high school students, Math Koritsia aims to encourage young girls and nonbinary students to have fun while building confidence in math.
