Welcome to the Monmouth County Vocational School District’s Return-to-School Resource Center. It is our hope that we can provide significant information to you regarding our plans for the reopening of schools in September.
The MCVSD continues to solicit information from staff members and parents; receive guidance from the NJDOE and local health officials; and utilize every resource at our disposal to further develop a SAFE return to school for the 2020-2021 school year.
Staff members representing administrators, teachers, and support staff have completed work on our state mandated Restart & Recovery Plan. Three subcommittees were created to develop options for how schools may reopen in September (Remote Learning, Hybrid Learning & In-Person Learning).
After diligently meeting over the past four weeks, our plan was adopted by the MCVSD Board of Education and is available for your review: MCVSD's Restart & Recovery Plan. As of 7/29/2020, our district's Restart & Recovery Plan has been submitted to the NJDOE for review and approval, and we hope to hear back from the NJDOE in the upcoming days.
Please use this web page (which will be updated throughout the summer) as a resource to understand our plans so you and your family can best prepare for a return to school this fall.
We know this is a difficult time. Please know that the Monmouth County Vocational School District is developing our Health and Safety Plan with the utmost care and our intent is to provide a healthy and safe environment for your children.
