About the Program

  • Open to high school graduates

  • Meets the 1,000-hour requirement to take the licensing exams from the State Board of Hairstyling and Cosmetology

  • Program length: 10 months (September–June)

  • Location: Neptune Annex, 105 Neptune Boulevard, Neptune, NJ

  • Two class schedules available

Dates & Times

Option 1:

  • Monday–Friday: 2:00pm–7:00pm

Option 2:

  • Monday–Thursday: 4:00pm–9:30pm

  • Friday: 4:00pm–7:00pm

Tuition & Finances

  • Tuition: $10,500 (2026–27)

  • Additional costs:

    • Books & student kit: approx. $500

    • Uniforms & licensure: approx. $100

  • Financial aid & grants available – partnerships with One Stop/WIB and DVR

  • Average student may take an $8,000 student or personal loan

  • Payment plans available
