High School Program Description
Electricity is a two-year program offering HIGH SCHOOL students an opportunity to learn and experience the skills necessary to achieve an entry-level position in the electrical contracting field. The curriculum includes class work instruction in electrical theory in Ohm's Law, Power and AC & DC Circuitry. Students will be able to perform calculations of resistance, current, voltage and wattage in series and parallel circuits. The National Electrical Code plays a major roll in the course of study. The curriculum offers hand-on work, as well as resume writing, job application, and interviewing skills.
