Academy of Allied Health & Science (AAHS)

Our Mission:
The Academy of Allied Health and Science prepares and motivates students to pursue further education towards a career in the medical sciences through a rigorous specialized curriculum and community-based partnerships, inspiring students to serve society with compassion, skill and vision.

  • Is located in Neptune in close proximity to Jersey Shore Medical Center and other Health Care facilities.
  • Provides a Continuous Program of College Preparatory Course work for students who are interested in exploring careers in the health and medical sciences.
  • Heavy emphasis on the use of computer technology in the Allied Health field.
  • Provides students the opportunity to participate in internships and mentoring programs.
  • Opened in September 1996 with a Freshman class of 64 students.
  • Member of the National Consortium of Specialized Secondary Schools of Mathematics, Science and Technology.

Biotechnology High School (BTHS)

Our Mission:
Biotechnology High School, an International Baccalaureate World School, integrates life sciences into a rigorous curriculum that inspires students toward open-minded participation in the global community and prepares students for higher education and leadership in an increasingly demanding workplace, through scholarly research, original investigations, and interactive partnerships.

Communications High School (CHS)

Our Mission:
Communications High School, a small, personalized academy with a career focus, provides a theme-based integrated curriculum in conjunction with community and industry partnerships. Monmouth County students interested in the field of communications acquire knowledge, skills, and ethics in a unique and challenging educational environment.

  • The Communications H.S. is located in Wall, NJ.
  • Opened in September 2000.

High Technology High School (HTHS)

Our Mission:
High Technology High School, a pre-engineering career academy that emphasizes the interconnections among mathematics, science, technology and the humanities, prepares students to become creative problem solvers through a rigorous specialized curriculum and community-based partnerships.

  • 2003 No Child Left Behind - Blue Ribbon School
  • Cooperative venture between Monmouth County Vocational School District and Brookdale Community College.
  • Provides a continuous program of technology education for grades 9-12.
  • Is designed with state of the art technology.
  • Provides students the opportunity for mentorships and to study in a college atmosphere.
  • Twice designated as a NJ "Star School" and recognized for Best Practices.
  • Member of the National Consortium of Specialized Secondary Schools of Mathematics, Science and Technology.
  • College credits in escrow and fast start programs are available to all students.

Marine Academy of Science & Technology (MAST)

Our Mission:
To provide small, nurturing, student-centered, learning environment for young people in New Jersey; who are talented and are truly interested in the areas of: Marine and Environmental Studies.

  • Is located on historic and scenic Sandy Hook, this unique location enables the students to have regular scientific contact on the beaches, the bay and the Atlantic Ocean.
  • Requires each student to participate in the Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps.
  • Provides a continuous program of college preparatory education.
  • Provides students the opportunity of internships in organizations like Gateway National Park, Clean Ocean Action and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
  • Designated as a "Star School".
  • Member of the National Consortium of Specialized Secondary Schools of Mathematics, Science and Technology.
